Setting Another Trap | 5 Step Taming Guide

Well, you now know about those cute little kittens, but I found them just a few days before we were leaving for our amazing holiday to Christchurch, which meant I wouldn't be able to tame a catch the kitten before our holiday. I came home just a few days ago and I set the trap yesterday, I still don't even know if we have caught anything in, (the suspense is killing me.)

Anyway, let's move onto a 5 step guide I made onto how I tame a kitten. (This is only how I tame, and it is not professional!)

How I Tame a Wild Kitten:

1.Feed the kitten everyday and spend LOTS of time with it. If you're the one who feeds the kitten everyday its gonna start to love you. And spending lots of time with it will really help because it will soon become familiar with you.

2. When you think you know the gender pick a name and stick with it, using it around the kitten can really help too. Once you pick a name you need to stick with it otherwise things kind of get messy. Use the name lots so it starts to get used to it.

3. Once you think the kitten is ready take it out of the cage and wrap its legs and body in a towel or blanket, and give it loads of pats. Don't rush into this because your kitten might not be ready, but is so the reason for wrapping up the kittens legs as well as the body is so that they can't scratch you at all!

4. When you're ready take the kitten out for good and keep a watchful eye on it. This is a big moment taking your kitten out of the cage forever is super rewarding, but don't let it runaway. Keep a good eye on it and leave it food, make sure it has a nice place to go and sleep once its finished exploring.

5. Make sure your kitten always has a nice place to go back to and sleep in and has everlasting food and water. This is what your kitten is going to love about you, you give it the care it wants and needs!

Good Luck, I really enjoyed taming my last cat and I hope you get to experience it too, because I loved it. I really hope we have caught something in our trap and I will keep you posted!!
