Danseys Pass Trail Ride!

What?: The Danseys Pass trail ride is a fundraiser organised by Duntroon School, it is a variation of tracks, that go through the wonderful Waitaki Vallley. It first started in 1999 with a very small amount of people. All the money they raise goes towards their school.

Main Facts:

Every year the school hosts the Danseys Pass trail ride, it is the longest 1 day event in both NZ and Australia. The trail ride all started in 1999, where it has had well over 20,000 riders. The money that is fundraised goes towards Duntroon School and their events. It has over 165km of tracks that lead you through the beautiful Waitaki Valley. All the tracks are completely redesigned every year. There is a complete total of 6 tracks ranging through from easy to really hard, making it accessible for all ages.

Altogether it is a wonderful event that a-lot of people enjoying attending. Many people come year after year which shows the level of enjoyment people get from it. It is a huge fundraiser for Duntroon School, with the whole community getting in behind it and helping.
