Baby Guinea-Pigs !

Recently I got another gorgeus guinea pig, which you may know about from another post, so now we have a girl and a boy. We decided to put them together and see if we can get any babies.

When will we get the babies?

If we do end up getting any babies they won't come for another 10 weeks. And there is lots of other things we need to plan too, before they arrive.

What Happens if they don't like their babies?

Well, we are going to take the Dad out anyway because there is a possibility that the Dad could eat the babies. And there is a really high chance that the mother will take them in but if she doesn't we will be trying our best to look after them for her!

What Breed Will They Be?

I am not 100% sure what breed the mother is but we think she is an American Guinea Pig and we know the Dad is a Merino Guinea Pig with really good bloodlines coming from his Dad, who comes from Australia. This means the babies will be an American, Merino mix.

I am super excited for these tiny babies to hopefully arrive and I will keep you posted if anything exciting does happen!!
