What About The Cow Sale??

Well, as you all know covid-19 began last year, and we ended up having to postpone the big sale! Don't worry though we are having another sale this year (2021), and I'm super excited because we will be selling loads of calves and cows. We have a mix of calves, some are imported as embryos from North America and some are high indexing animals of New Zealand breeding.

The bit I find really is exciting is the preparation for the sale. Fitters (people that groom and lead the cows) and photographers (people who take photos of the cows) come from Australia just to help out. We create ads so people know we are having a cow sale and we get all the signs ready to place at the shed. Each cow and calf has their own place to stand while they are waiting to get lead around the ring and they each have a number called a lot number and that is the order they are sold in the catalogue. In the end I am super excited for the cow sale and I really hope to see you there too!
